| Aspen's 36' (11 meters) is a breath of fresh air to the category with its beam and single engine design. It is the first boat in this category with 600 sq. ft. of deck and living space. The C110 uses the same Patent Pending Proa hull design and tailors the hull and drive for ideal performance with a modern electronically fuel-injected Cummins 260 HP diesel engine. Design cruise speeds are 16 -19 kts with a top speed of 22 kts. Expected fuel consumption is 8.5 gph at 18 kts or 35 to 75 percent less than competitive cruising boats. Full displacement performance is forecast to be 3 gph at 9 knots, range with 350 gallons is expected to be 954 miles at 9 knots, at 18 knots range projections are 570 miles with 10% reserves. |
